India Development Service (IDS) is a nonprofit, non-political, and secular organization supporting economic and social development in India .
Educate
Over the years, IDS has funded schools for slum dwellers and migrant children, a mobile science laboratory for village children, and an English computer lab for girls. In addition, IDS funded a National Association for the Blind program in Karnataka integrating rural blind children with sighted children in the educational system.
IDS is currently supporting an innovative project to help provide education to tribal children in rural A.P.
