India Development Service (IDS) is a nonprofit, non-political, and secular organization supporting economic and social development in India .
Health
IDS has supported a number of healthcare projects including AIDS, health education, and malnutrition. The Maternity and Child Welfare Center in Bihar, and Save-A-Mother program in U.P. are additional projects that IDS has supported to provide medical assistance to at-risk groups in order to improve overall health, and reduce infant and maternal mortality.
